For the TU Delft Repository, the library Research Infra team are concentrating on 7 specific initiatives in the first half of 2026.
1. Editors’ Form
– A major initiative for 2026 focused on building and delivering a robust form(s) for the metadata team. The goal is to allow the metadata team to manage metadata and associated files in the repository efficiently.
– Delivery in two stages in March and May 2026
2. Upload Form
– The Upload Form is an initiative in 2026 to build and deliver a form to allow end users to upload their content. The focus for the first half of 2026 is for the upload of Masters’ theses. It uses the same concept as the Editors Form but with a different interface
– Delivery – July 17
3. Search Box and General Usability
– This initiative will ensure that the search mechanism and the general usability reaches a certain quality for end-users.
– Delivered by March 27 2026 (but ongoing work after then)
4. Masters Theses Pages
– This initiative will redesign how Masters (and PhD) theses are shown in the record view of the repository
– Delivery: May 22 (and ongoing)
5. Adding Subject Classification and Keywords
– This will add improved subject classifications and keywords to records in the repository.
– The backend database will have the added keywords by March 27, with the plan to have the data available in May
6. Faculty Browser and Home Page Revamp
– This initiative will redesign the home page of the repository to give it a more dynamic feel, and it will also allow users to browse the research outputs according to faculty, department and research group. The functionality is adapted from the Pure Research Portal

7. Backlog and Bugs
This ongoing initiative will be retrospective work to clear up bugs and issues, particularly retrospective work: clearing up technical debt; resolving reported bugs; addressing minor issues to ensure platform stability.
