Over the past year, we have explored how Dimensions and Altmetric Explorer can transform the way you navigate the research landscape. We started with an introduction to Dimensions, moved into a deep dive on unlocking research insights, and recently looked at how Altmetric Explorer tracks impact beyond the citation. To help you put these insights into practice, a new suite of learning resources is available, including the first interactive course: Dimensions 101.
Build your confidence with Dimensions 101
Dimensions 101 is the first in a series of courses designed to help you navigate the platform with ease. Whether you are a newcomer or need a quick refresher on the basics, this self-paced course provides a structured path to mastery.
In about 45 minutes, the course covers:
- An introduction to Dimensions.
- Keyword, DOI, and Title & Abstract searches.
- Interpreting and analyzing your results.
- Navigating Dimensions with confidence.
Registration is simple (name and email only), and there are no access restrictions, making it an ideal resource to share with colleagues or research teams.
Quick-start tutorials
For immediate answers to specific questions, a selection of short, standalone tutorials is also available. These require no registration and are ready to view at any time.

Looking ahead
