Thank you to everyone that applied for the UX Researcher position.

By the closing date of 22 April we had over 200 applications (yes, over two hundred). My apologies for not being able to respond personally to all the related emails that candidates sent in.

We are now working through the applications. Given the number of respondents, it will take us a couple of weeks to sift through the first round. After that we will be in touch with successful candidates (first half of May 2024)

Extra information over the role

Research vs. Design Balance: The initial focus (say for the first six months) is on the UX research side of the job. After that there may be more requirement for design work, but that depends on the discoveries made during the research phase.

Service Examples: A key part of the UX research is to find out how researchers discover the services available to them. Some of the examples are

– https://softwarefinder.tudelft.nl/, or https://storagefinder.tudelft.nl/

– The library website itself, and the university Intranet, and the university self-service portal

The repository itself is undergoing a redesign at the moment https://repository.tudelft.nl/

Hiring Process: Six interviewees have been selected. The first round takes place in early June. If needed a second round will take place in mid to late June
